Why Therapy Co-Treatment?
Many children benefit from the intervention of an Occupational Therapist to promote sensory integration, modulation, and praxis so they can better access the skills needed for communication and coordination. Children who are not engaged or who are dysregulated may struggle to meet speech and language or physical therapy goals.
Who May Benefit from an OT/Speech or OT/PT Co-Treatment?
Those diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), and/or ADHD are just a few examples of kiddos we've seen thrive using a co-treatment model.
